We all have a special person in our lives; it could be our parents, siblings, best friend or our life partner. On their special day it is important to show how much we appreciate their presence in our life and pamper them as much as possible. Here are few tips which will help you to make their special day a memorable one:
Think out of the box
It is very easy for one to buy an expensive gift such as branded clothes or a digital device. Although this would make them happy, it doesn’t really mean it is going to be with them for lifetime. For example overtime they will throw the clothes or replace the device with a new version. So it is always important to give something which they can keep all their life. For example you could make a collage of your photos and put it in a mug or even a plate. If you don’t live in the same city or country then you could do this through custom framing online and arrange delivery service so your loved one gets it on time. Another thing you could do is make a jar of all your fulfilled memories with them; gifts like this show how much you love that person!
Try to surprise them
It takes a lot of effort to surprise people especially if you see them on a daily basis. However, surprises are loved by everyone. Instead of just giving a gift you could throw a surprise party for them! However, a common mistake made my most of the couples is that they surprise their partner only on occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries. This is great but you could even surprise them in order to make up after a fight. For example you could cook their favorite dish or go to a place which offers printing and make personalized sorry cards or a sorry note. Also if you are someone who plans surprises every year then make sure you don’t be too repetitive with the plan as the person would already be aware of it. So you could switch it up for example you could do an early birthday surprise or plan one after the birthday is over! If you are doing long distance then make sure that you surprise the person by making it on their birthday. This is usually appreciated by the parents who prefer the physical presence of their child/children instead of the presents.Apart from this you could also do things which are outside your comfort zone. For example if you are a person who cannot dance or doesn’t like dancing, then you could prepare a special performance for your loved one!
